Prepping For Spam

He blunders around grocery stores.
Impulse buying - compelling.

Back home
he looks at the bagged,
wonders why,
wonders
if he will also charge around
tomorrow.

The larder, the pantry
the stacked cans
of all kinds of Spam

gleam untouched
but one day -
you never know.

Hmmm...remember in Boy Scouts we were taught to "Be Prepared!" I suppose he is doing so in the best way he knows.

Yep the guy knows Spam never goes off as long as you don't open the can, and I mean, who would? Cheers L Milton.
