Prefect

THE LITTLE GIRL
Always saw it from afar that it was coming
coming to get a them no matter the smiles
for each time she had them yell
fighting like they had nothing to lose
she knew someday it will collapse
leaving pieces so dangerous to see

THE LITTLE GIRL
     Always watched when they smiled
at neighbors each morning
kissing and making promises like the perfect family they weren't
for all was a lie she saw with her little eyes

THE LITTLE GIRL
cried when finally things fell apart
knowing that she was in the middle of nothing
but the past no one wanted to look at
and the present that reminded her daddy that he had a cheating wife
