Preening Birds
Watching birds in the garden,
Small-sized nature gifts,
They take flight with colourful wings,
The glamour that spring brings.
They preen their tiny plumage,
A captivating sight,
A door into nature's insight,
A ride on a joyful carriage.
I'm at home with these nature's beauties,
They're my inspiration,
I anticipate their visitation,
As spring takes the stage.
