Predictable
PREDICTABLE – OR NOT?
“You’re so predictable,” she said,
As I gave her the bouquet.
“Did you think a bunch of roses
Would make everything okay?
You’ll have to do much better,
If you want me to forgive
And for us to be together
For as long as we both shall live.”
I wasn’t quite so predictable
With what I told her next.
“I just thought this was kinder
Than dumping you by text”.
