Precious Time

Just when you think you can’t go on much longer With a whirlwind of issues plaguing your mind, Take a step, just a step with all you have left. Knowing, only a step is moving you forward. The sights wait for you to look and see. The fresh air waits for you to breathe. You may think it isn’t enough with how you feel. But a step is a step and a sight is a sight. With each and every piece of beauty captured, You will create your own scenery in your mind To surround you with all that you have to endure. One day your life will reflect all of the beauty. One day, it will not be as it is right now because You let yourself move forward in precious time. Heidi Sands 3/5/17

Heidi, This poem fits me in so many ways. after recent open heart surgery i could do nothing on my own. Each day i was told it would come back with time. each step and each day was an improvement. now i'm home and each day find myself moving forward in precious time. Tom
