Precious Memories

In Memory of My Cousin “Harold Andrew Warfield Jr.”

Precious Memories
I got some disturbing news, just the other day,
A calm voice whispered, “Little Harold has passed away.”
I blurted out the questions, “what, when, where, and how?”
Then through silent thoughts I asked, Lord, why him, why now?
It wasn’t but a brief moment, before a response came through,
“His earthly body was getting tired, and the Doctors, had no clue.”
“So I took him up into my arms, and carried him to his home anew!”
Although, I will miss him dearly, I truly understand,
That he will forever be resting, in Our Mighty Fathers Hands.
