A really lovely poem multilayered open to two distinct interpretations. One or the other and all the blends of both. I love the image of your heart as the oyster and the pearl as your romantic memory of a lover. I also love the pear being sapphire blue like the oceans from which they originate.

Thank you Dorian I love Oysters, and I love Pearls...the thought of a Sapphire Pearl intrigued me. A memory of sharing Oysters and Champagne on a beach with someone special under a sapphire sky inspired this write.
