perfection 
in a fight
      against convention

portrayed
&
       allegorized 
with passion
    so prominent
in  colour
  so pure

         living images 
wander
 the mind
infused
        by an impulse

          preoccupied
            with
              originality
in wild  gleams
               of fancy

soaring imagination
on
    the
       wings
            of 
               the past
