Praying For Prayers
They take over the lunch room
Making a huge display of praying
Keeping their heads down
Loudly praying
The rest of us do not roll our eyes or anything
These are the same women who never bring to potlucks
Yet fix two plates extra for their families
We do not say a word
But I suspect many of us pray for them
Even the ones who do not get a plate
For we almost always run out of food
before the non public prayer's lunch shift.
