Praying For Inspiration
praying for inspiration
grandpa comes through
reminds him of the good old days
when you just played for fun
praying for inspiration
grandma tiptoes past
recognizing her husband
in her favorite grandson
praying for inspiration
his girlfriend understands
does not bother him
begins cooking with grandma
praying for inspiration
Jesus gives him a nod
You are one of my chosen
Go for it! He tells him
praying for inspiration
his muse flitters past
he reaches out and grabs her
she shrieks with delight
praying for inspiration
works every time
he writes another best-selling song
wins a Grammy, and has his spirit guides to thank.
