Notes About The Poem

Praying and Talking

Praying and Talking

Before…,
I would bow my head and pray,
just as grandma told me to do.
Every word meant with my whole heart.
Then things happened,
that can not be explained.
few would understand,
even less, believe…
perhaps…that is the problem.

I asked to escape, and I was given freedom.
I asked for help, I was given a hand.
I asked for food and shelter,
I have plenty and my house is dry.

I asked for guidance, you sent me a map.
I asked for your answers you gave me your book.
I asked for mercy…
You gave me a savior, Your Son.

I no longer bow my head only at night,
as grandma taught me as a child.
I know now He is with me from sun up,
to the end of my days.

So talking to My Father, His Son, His Spirit
is a pleasure to know…
I am never alone.

Indeed, we are never alone with the Lord's assured presence. Thanks for this. (I have soup mail for you regarding my request for a "collaborative" poem. I await for your response.) God bless you.

Dear friend. that sounds so fun. But I have no idea how to find what you are telling me. I look on the mail incoming box... and it says remarks... I don't see anything about a cool collaborative .... possibility...
