Praying and Receiving

Songbirds bathing
In the liquid sun
Spacing themselves
Evenly upon
The gray
Telephone lines
Still, one by one
Praying and receiving
Their call from above
Well, ain't this a good God

You betcha Gregory! Neither do they toil nor spin, just dwell in Love's gin. Smile, Sincerely, Moses
