Prayers For A hurting World
O God my Creator, my refuge, my flame,
I come as I am—not hiding my shame.
Like the man with leprosy, kneeling alone,
I whisper, “If willing… let healing be known.”
No mask, no pride, no polished disguise,
Just the ache for wholeness behind my eyes.
I bring You the wounds I’ve tried to conceal—
The parts of me longing to feel and be healed.
Touch me, O God, with Your fearless hand,
Break through the silence where sorrows expand.
You showed no partiality—You crossed every line,
So I ask not by merit, but Your mercy divine.
And Father, I pray for the world in despair—
For those who feel isolated, ashamed, or bare.
Like the man who knelt in his leprous skin,
May they find the courage to say, “Renew me again.”
Let Your healing touch reach our body and soul,
Restore us to love, make the broken whole.
Bring peace, to communities, restore with Your grace,
The warmth of belonging, through Your holy embrace.
May we, Your church, all be vessels of light,
Reaching the hurting as our hearts are made right.
With tenderness, grace, and hands that restore,
Let us love like Jesus—opening close doors.
Restore me, not just in body alone—
But in soul, mind and spirit, Your love in me strong.
Reintegrate me into the community where I’m known
Where I am clean, I am whole, I belong.
Let solitude deepen my prayerful breath,
Let Your presence deliver from the shadow of death.
From darkness of night to Your holy light,
Let our spirits rise—our souls shining bright.
I am touched by love. I am clean. I belong.
This is my prayer, my worlds heart song.
Not by demand, but by faith only I now stand—
“If You are willing…” Father, please stretch out Your hand.
In Jesus name…..
Amen.
