Prayers
todays long passing
teaches me patience
long shadows, dark corners
bleak moments surround
weak sunlight makes it through
but we are mourning
no longer do I resist sadness
I have learned to let it fall
waterfall
around me soak me through
and I stand and wait
for prayers
