prayer in armchair

he meditated and prayed for harmony and peace
for justice and fairness to take their course
and quite naturally he still thought he knew for himself
what those concepts would mean and should yield

he had no choice in the matter however
so he let go surrendered and handed everything over
to his Higher Power who had brought them so far
had delivered exquisite happiness and ultimate joy
but also an unpalatable separation from his lover and wife

at the end of the dialogue he asked what God wanted him to do now
and the answer came promptly ‘continue on praying’
he saw intense lights and experienced some moderate fireworks
half pictures and faint images came to his mind
Munch’s Scream turned into Gaugin’s exotic beauties
as he began to sit in an armchair and read

the only comfy one that he owns is the one his soul mate had given him
which in his mind he had already disposed at charity for good
maybe he will keep it now as a gesture of the harmony he is seeking

The armchair will tell you when & if it wants to go or stay, Michael. Sit tight with the breath. ThkU for sharing your vulnerability. Sending Light. X.

Thank you for your comment and advice. Only when we are aware of the darkness, we can see the light. XXX

What a very powerful write you have here. I enjoyed reading. I have found that God's time and my time are Not the same time. God know all/does what is best for me even when I can Not see it until much later. Prayer with being Thankful Daily is the key. Many are Not Thankful. God Bless You...  Have a very blessed day/week writing away............
