Prayer Beats

It seems that, much to my elation, they’ve scheduled me for an ablation, the actual ramification being no more need for medication. The actual source of frustration has been atrial fibrillation; regularity takes a vacation and causes a thumping sensation. Electrical cauterization shuts down the heart’s over-stimulation via pathway elimination of excess cardiac innervation. ‘Twould be nice to see a cessation; there are certainly good indications - the hard work and culmination of research in my generation. In the process of ideation, the heart boasts personification, depicted in fine illustrations of longing and imagination. And so, Lord, grant my supplication and eliminate all consternation, such that I might thy glorification continue with much adoration and improved syllabification.

Jeff your personal thoughts on your procedure are realized by me. My wife Judy is planning to have the same procedure done within the next several months. Like you she has been on meds Metoprol forever. Her heart races for hours like three hours and that is with the medication in her system sometimes. My prayers are with you and It is routinely done with great success. Thanks for sharing...

Jeff, my heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this procedure. We have had several friends who have gone through this procedure with great success. Your monorhyme is done with your usual mastery of language, imagery and in this case, personification. Please let us know of your progress. Prayers and blessings to you and your poetic heart..

Any time we can eliminate a medication from our bodies is a blessing! Blessings!

Thanks so much, Sam, for your comments both on the poetry and the procedure - I think you are right, that it should go well, and will be nice to be in rhythm without meds!

All my prayers and loving thoughts headed your way. (The procedure is usually very effective with minimal discomfort or recovery.) Love how poetry is the conduit of our inner angst, as you so eloquently established here. :-)

Thanks, Becky! Much appreciated. I have been on meds for 15+ years with good control. I was a lot less comfortable with the idea back then, did not like the idea of them going through my heart wall, but seems very safe these days and good success rates. Only recently has it been allowed to consider from insurance perspective once meds were shown to be effective.

Very cleverly written, Jeff. Sorry you're having a problem getting your ticker regulated. I was treated for atrial fibrillation for about a year until they decided I didn't have it! Go figure!

Thanks, it’s mainly my healthcare costs I want regulated! Med costs have really been increasing, insurance is now allowing the procedure for me even though the meds work, so I’ve stacked up the procedures this year, met deductibles, and hopefully will save $$ going forward
