Pray But Work

pray but work
send the large crowd home 
cos they need to work 
the temple is not a company 
cos no factory is built in one 
so set the people free 
teach them how to feed 
for themselves 
teach them that heaven 
help those who help themselves
the world is growing 
the world is developing
they never achieve that from 
the temple were only a particular
book is taught 
with out no change 
so send the large crowd home
let them
pray but work 


pray but work
send the large crowd home
close the temple doors
oh you temple door man 
cos is time to work 
the land is rich
the tools needs hands 
our market needs our local product
we can enrich our life's
by our effort 
remember that is not
done in the temple
that is not achieved by
reading and quoting a 
particular book everyday
remember heaven 
help those who help
themselves 
so send the large crowd home
teach them how to
pray but work

cos they are also useful 
to their communities
their families need to feed
their bills are not paid by a book
they got problems 
that why they are hungry for 
miracle
cos they got no hope left 
after life has tortured their 
future through a deceitful
leaders who never care about 
this very confused victims
singing and praying 
in large numbers hoping
on God 
what else can they do 
like always they say
is true job are difficult
in our dear third world
yet you can't find one 
either in the temple 
so send the large crowd home
teach them how to feed
for themselves 
teach them how to
pray but work

for they got responsibilities
to Carter for 
they got issues behind 
the temple closed doors 
they are victims of 
curse they need not suffer for 
and they got a lot jobs 
to offer to humanity 
so while you teach them 
to pray 
teach them that their is a lot 
of job to do in Africa 
remember that can't be done 
in the temple 
remember heaven help those who
help themselves
so send the large crowd home
you priest of God 
teach them how to feed
for themselves
teach them how to
pray but work
