Pray
Yes, I’m a Christian
Yes, I pray
And you can’t take
My life away.
Just because I speak to God
Gives you no right to be a sod.
Without Him I’d be alone,
A statue made of solid stone.
He gives me life
He gives me breath
Stays with me
Until my death
And after that I’ll be with him
In his world free from any sin.
‘Love thy neighbour as thyself’
And put aside your worldly wealth
Then perhaps you will all see
The meaning of true deity.
Money is not a God,
Neither are Big Brother winners.
Open your eyes and see it
And then it’s an end to the sinners.
