Prairie Dog Serenade

Azure huddle
within prairie dog sight
betwixt and between hunts
delicate smells
summer gentles
taste of daylight

fur and finery
preening for mate
his interest piqued
every movement purposed
pirouettes his love song
green meadow smiles
chatter, twirl
a romance in the making

'pirouettes his love song' is an intriguing line. I can read it three different ways with three different meanings, depending on where I pause my voice. Kudos, Gershon

I have read it three times, trying to see what you saw. Alas, you are way ahead on this one my friend.
