Prairie

PRAIRIE 

On a wild prairie 
Where wild flowers grew 
I drove limitless miles 
Looking for you 

Field upon field 
Filled with gold 
Wild flowers 
Purple and blue 
Looking for you 

Such expanse of sky 
Such a prairie 
Wild flowers 
Picked by me 
Looking for you 

When the blue, 
met the purple 
In a field of gold 
If only I could see 
A sky for me 
Looking for you 

I know 
On a prairie 
Where wild flowers grew 
purple and blue 
One day 
I will find... 
You!
