Power To Shake It Off

Shaking loose the shackles of our past is not an easy task-
Especially when there is always someone or something to remind us of who we
used to be or what we used to do.
Yet no matter our failures, God is a gracious Father who loves us and will give us
strength to overcome all obstacles through faith.

Therefore it is not where you have been or who you were that matters;
It is more where you are going and who you are now that counts.
Mistakes have been made by all of us but it is important to have learned from
these mishaps and to move forward now in honesty and truth.
See the necessity of forgetting those things that are behind you and press
onward to a higher calling-a life of integrity and love.
You nor I can do anything about the past except to use it as a guideline to make
the present and the future better.
We can not change it; only learn from it.
We must not continue on the backward road, for if we do, there is no chance for
today or tomorrow's happiness; Life has begun and ended with yesterday.

Shake loose the shackles of the past by now pursuing justice, love, peace, and
kindness so that the shackles of yesterday will not bind you in a life of hum-drum
existence.
Catch hold to the chain of hope and the rod of rightness that leads to everlasting
light and joy.

Pursue Wisdom! Bind Truth in your Heart and Stand in the Faith of God. Resist
every negative thought, word and deed and let Love reign supreme within that
you may walk in liberty, upright and worthy of being God's child.
