Power of words
Do you ever wonder why
It’s same sentence
But someone read it and understood it
different ways?
Power of words
It unites us
Or it can tear us apart
Let me tell you a funny story
I was in a restaurant
And I asked for fish sauce
for my egg rolls
And the waiter
brought out fish sauce straight from the bottle
Not the one already fixed up with lime
sugar and water
Thought it was too funny
So you see
Sometimes words have so much meanings
That is a beauty of it
One can see it one way
And the other - another way
Are they all leading on the same direction?
If you asked me I’d say yes
They all pointed to Him
- The instigator of all
So the next time you get mad at your neighbor
Or your friend or your loved one
Smile and give them grace
God is making them understand it a different way
May be like yours
May be totally unlike yours
It’s all in the bag of chips
Don’t know why I say that
But someone may understand me
Can words tear us apart?
Can we be that cruel?
I’d like to think that we can’t be that cruel
We have the ummm in our spirit
That would stop and guard us
from going overboard from going through
If we only listen
That is the difference
between life and death
Choose life
Hallelujah to the Lamb
Who brought us life
Here is to us
The preservers of life
All day and always
Can it be possible?
