Power of Luna
Moon threw the stars across the sky in a streak
A fast burst of twinkling diamonds emerged
Energy personified, the air felt cleaner and newer
I marveled at Moon’s prowess and swiftness
One second a curtain of dull gray with fading trees
The next second a sparkly stage of illumination and hope
How powerful you are I told Luna, smiling at him.
He slipped under a cloud to smile, away from my eyes.
