Power Intoxicate

Power intoxicate
The loss of common sense
Can be well seen on the hills
Where we have the men on power
Mostly on the third world

Power intoxicate
Could it be that
They don't see
Or they can't feel
Could it be
That their hearts are stick
To greed with a glue that can
Never melt
Or they got so much to
Never realise they are the
Example to their community

Power intoxicate
Why is it that
When so many good men
get
Up to leader ship
They turn vampires
How come this position
Of leadership
Make you stink to
Your people like you are
So intoxicated with thy
Greed

Power intoxicate
The voice of the people
Is the voice of God
Oh man please listen
The power you abuse
Has a great damage
It cursing to humanity
Calm down and look
Above material satisfaction
To see what value is it
If you lead with a truth

Power intoxicate
Power intoxicate the corrupt mind
Power intoxicate the greedy soul
Power intoxicate the weak
Power intoxicate an evil mind
Yet
Power intoxicate not
The man with a truth
For the light he carry
Shines so bright
Like the sun
As he energies his people
To no doom nor illusion

Power intoxicate
A wise leader
Steals not
Cheat not
Lie not
Oppress not
Discriminate not
But teach and lead
With love not only
For himself
As he move along his
Ways he never let his
People down
For this kind of man
Is free from getting to
The point where
Power intoxicate
