Power
POWER is a tool, a means
and the ability to control.
POWER is a consuming force
something that can destroy your soul.
POWER can make the wealthy shake
or let a pauper stand tall.
POWER affects your judgement,
it makes you feel above the law.
POWER controls cash flow, independence
and other people's freedom.
POWER makes you feel noble
everyone serves in your kingdom.
POWER lets you believe you're right
when the truth you don't understand.
POWER installs greed and corruption
you will take all that you can.
POWER will steal your heart, take away your feelings
and not let you be free.
POWER is a trait that's hard to handle
my suggestion is to let it be.
