Pouring Water From the Sky
pouring water from the sky
springing a leak for your return
i am dead to the world tonight
i make a trampoline in the spider's web
as a jump to escape this self-made fate, i begin to remember the good times
i remember candy and a gentle wind
i recall clam chowder and a tranquil ocean
pouring water from the sky
springing a leak for your return
i am dead to the world tonight
i make a parachute in the whale's belly
as i am digested via the concoction that renders me a distant memory, i start
to think about priceless moments
i remember you riding me to the moon and then the sun
i remember me sampling you from the stars to the clouds
pouring water from the sky
springing a leak for your return
i am dead to the world tonight
i make a time capsule in the butterfly's cocoon
as a float away praying for granted wishes, i think back on the simpler times
i think back when the colors of our unique bond were alive and vibrant
i think back when there was no such a thing as gloomy blue rain
