Pour Down Rain Day

Leaves soggy drowned on path abandoned by walkers, joggers, bikers, boarders, lovers, mothers with baby carriages, lost soul wanderers, others. Abandoned earth musty buried in compost's organic decay splashes of mildewy moldiness earthworms over-watered wilting on bed of black lettuce croutons for birds that wearily snuzzle in treetops with shiver blankies toe to beak. Squirrels inspect nuts for cracks against weather neighborhood shock follows new season inundation belly growling loudly and shouting dark, damp, cold hints of end

Fine picture of autumn! Reminds me of the first page of Ray Bradbury's "The October Country". Peace & Power. Thank you for your comments. Peace & Blessings Matthew Anish

NAncy, this is one of your best for me here. I just love the imagery in here. Especially those worms as croutons for birds! Great rainy day writing! and oh my gosh, don't even get ME thinking of a Corvette. The older ones with the LONG wide front end. oh my.
