Poulter's Measure

Now that I have totally learned to count to twelve, I hope that I can do Poulter's measure extremely well. The day I count to fourteen towards Poulter's lean Isn't this great to count all day just like you know, The Count.

You got me laughing, Sara. The "Poulter's Measure" challenge is hard, but I often find myself counting syllables when writing verses. The more syllables, the easier the rhyme seems to come. Great work! Love, Carolyn

Sara, sorry to have to tell ya, but cute as this is, I think line two needs to be 14 instead of 12 syllables. Anyway, I love that you are trying. I have many poet friends who hate counting syllables. YOu are not alone, dearie!! Luv, andrea
