Potty Mouth

He can curse up a storm make a sailor blush Foul blue language spewed out in a gush Could strip paint clean off a battleship Exponentially worse if you give him any lip Rambling in sincerity's guise but his worst 4-letter words are all his LIES 8/16/2020 The poem was partially inspired by a phrase I would hear from time to time as I was growing up. “He’s a potty mouth and he needs to have it cleaned out with soap!” I can assure you the repeated uttering of that phrase wasn’t directed towards me as it took only one time to put me on the straight and narrow ;)

You said "HE" so sad, now FEMALES can make a man like him blush, when open their mouth. Note said... females for ladies never speak that way.

there's a rumour going around that people who swear are super intelligent. ffs. When I was 10, or there abouts, I had my mouth washed out with Keens Mustard...for repeating what I'd heard the adults say about my Grandmother's next door neighbour. When inspecting her roses with my grandmother,I made the sad mistake of repeating what I'd heard at the lunch table, and thinking I was paying her a compliment,I proferred this,"Your roses are beautiful and my Nana thinks you are a Bi.atch."Blessed be.:)

Lol... Your experience and my poem remind me of what Oliver Wendell Holmes wrote: “Not only out of the mouths of babes and sucklings, but out of the mouths of fools and cheats (i.e., the focus of my poem) we may often get our truest lessons.” Thank you for your visit, my lady!

I can guess who this is about (if you are referring to a certain occupant of a certain house on Pennsylvania Ave) you got his number down pat!

Well said Mark there really is no need for constant cursing and your line 'Rambling in sincerity's guise' made me smile and think of several folk on soup - I can't abide being lied to:-( hugs Jan xx
