Potter's Desire

Knead me.
Place me.
Turn me around
And lean over me.
Cover me with water
And center me in your wheel.
Wet me with your hands
And form me.
Wet me with your hands
And shape me to your desire.
Take away the excess.
Smooth me.
Place your mark upon me
And make me a vessel of honor.
Set me to dry in the sun
And fire me.
Dip and seal me
And fire me again.
Cool me.
Hold me in your hands.
Turn me around
And look at me.
Fill me... again and again.
Wet me with your hands
And take away the excess.
Place me in your spaces
And use me.
