Post-Pandemic War
A Post-American, Post-liberal world order awaits us.
But what will it look like?
The general feeling that things will not be the same.
That’s right, it can never go back to what it was,
Because it is what it is now.
People are wishing for the good old days.
What was good about them?
As COVID-19 wreaks havoc around the world,
National and local governments,
Have taken charge in directing the fight,
Against this virus,
Which is by definition global and would necessitate,
Global action-one would imagine.
Politically I would think they would set
Politics aside and organize together,
Not fight against but together.
This pandemic cares not whether,
You are black or white, red or yellow,
No matter what color,
Or what kind of weather.
We must be together in this war,
There is no going back to the future,
It is gone.
We are not alone, on our own,
Let us all get on the phone,
Because God is always at home,
Hearing the call, whether right or wrong,
Called!
