Possibilities Are the Mothers of Probabilities
Science is supposed to be about…possibilities.
All too often, when funding is needed;
it’s about probabilities.
Then possibilities, are thrown away,
like garbage in a dumpster.
It seems a bit silly,
when possibilities,
often lead to probabilities.
Science cuts off its nose;
to spite its own face.
Humankind would progress further, faster,
if possibilities were funded.
When possibilities are ignored or negated;
advancement is stalled and society pays the price.
