Possibilities

2016 a disaster ! Sugar addiction makes me fat
     Even fatter than my cat
     Beware of that which gives immediate pleasure
     Can take away life's treasure
 
     A truck load of pizza, cardboard and fake
     Don't forget chocolate, for heavens sake
     Enough ice cream to make elephant bloat
     Want to dive from castle into moat

     Because I'm fat, too shy
     Love impossible to buy
     Heart's desire kept in cage
     Love's poem a torn page

     2017 new life begin !  Get off of this road
     No more sitting around like a big fat toad
     Pump enough iron, Charles Atlas would fain
     Dancing, even in the rain

     Will unleash my heart, what a thrill !
     Ask out whoever I will 
     Maybe love find, no fear
     2017 will be a very good year !

I tried to write funny and could not even do it. Sure hope I can do one as good as yours. merry Christmas. I too know how hard it is to lose weight. I've been using special diet pills a month now and GAINED a pound. Ugggggg
