Positivity
Midnight musings:
Positivity is a key in life to seeing the best in things
Open the door and your see your world as it can be
No matter the happenings, take time to look at uplifting sights and activity
To stay focused and verbalize hopes, dreams and ambitions
To support, praise and encourage others with validation
Positivity is to take a moment to smile at strangers
To keep trying a little or a lot to get through things that happen
Even starting with a breath and a step, after a problem
It is to take action when you can and seek the best in yourself to share
To let go of the curse of complaints to yourself or to another
To try to be uplifting in circumstances of all kinds
To be willing to make changes where they need to be made
To be grateful for whatever it is, no matter now small it may be
To hold onto faith even in the hardest times when life feels upside-down
Positivity can be achieved in minutes and even with small steps
To make the effort to separate from the turmoil in the world
To keep trying, even new things that were never tried before now
Positivity can bring fulfillment to any kind of day, a flower, the sky or moon
It will shine the way through tears, pain, beyond obstacles in your way
Never let go of positivity; it is a light that shines within you
For your life to be worthwhile, special, all that you want it to be
Embrace the light and not let it dim, it can travel far, person to person
It is only negativity that will dim such a light for you and for others
Do not let yourself be consumed and clouded in that type of darkness
It will settle and be like quicksand, keeping all stuck in one place
The gift of life is wrapped with positivity; smile and open it now!
