Portrait of Destiny
Don’t be the one
That everybody thinks you should be
A perfect fit
For their envisioned destiny
Not your own
Because that only belongs,
To you
Do what you do
In everything you do
Because at the end of the day
That’s all that is measured
On this real-life scale
Follow your heart, and you shall
Be reassured
Listen to your heart, beat
After the Lord speaks, to it
Follow it,
And you shall find
Significance
Because you’ve found, it’s,
Significant,
To be yourself
Adding another piece to the puzzle,
Of life,
So divinely orchestrated
Although, some never hesitate
To stab and poke towards completing it
Blaspheming as such,
For trying to play the divine,
That willed it
With powerful hand
With matchless might
Day and night
He created,
With no need for another
To take on the role, He slated
Beautiful, is the picture He painted
Captured fearfully, in a single image
No need for double-takes
So no need for others,
to make the mistake,
of changing a masterpiece
so with grace,
with peace
be portrayed, in the Artist’s perfect gallery
being displayed,
everyday
in your light of perfect destiny
