Porcelain Peacocks

Porcelain peacocks strut in starlit shower, drifting as clouds on an emerald lawn. Black Narcissus spindles in oxblood flower in teeming beds before the coming dawn of floating white as night would then be gone, its smoky quills of porcupines receding to a memory as effervescing rays of morning glow would begin, preceding butter sun with cumulus as dressing in an azure sky and daylight's blessing.

Now this is poetry! This makes my attempt at a Quintain seem doggerel at best. Although mine is more macabre. Your imagery is so vivid in this poem. Seriously, I am taken back by this one! Regards, Dean

Thanks, Daniel, but I haven't decided if I'm entering the contest or not. I might have to write another one and then decide.

Very cool my friend. The title really drew me in and the poem held up it's end of the bargain. I enjoyed this a lot.
