Desperate lives of porcelain
leaning on
tomorrows wishes.
Soapy bubbles bursting in
A sink of dirty dishes.
While children dream
No more,
Their futures daily tore
From out their breast.
Hearts escaping
Through their eyes
Moisture buckets,
Silent cries,
Not knowing life is but a test;
Knowing only pain,
and wishing, mommy-daddy rest.
We cannot bring them back.
They would not be saved.
Desperate porcelain lives they carried
With them
To their graves.
