Poor Frog

I first read this poem with the exception the last line was "And a frog got smashed" in Boys Life magazine about forty yeas ago. And yes, I remember because I have been telling it to people all these years. I found it because I wanted to know who the poet was!

HG- Poor Frog! Everybody seems to love frogs. Of all the places for the tree to fall, on the frog. It must have been his time. I choose to believe that there is a froggie heaven... even though, I sometimes wonder. No, there's got to be. This is a touching poem and quite analogous to human life. Good Write. Love, Dane
