Pool

Those nights playing pool
In our kitchen on cool nights
Joking as I used the cue
And thinking how lucky I was
To find someone like you
Watching you Stare at me
across the room, you found me too
You're brother standing in the corner
You're Dad, like family,
Asking me to mute the music
As we joked about life and work
In the sad nursing home
Not knowing your life
would end soon
I had a true friend in You
Those days are gone
But I miss talking to my Man
And I hope you had a full life
And had no regrets In the End
