Pondering

Heather sits in the light of the full moon Letting the must caress her skin Wondering what life has in store for her Quietly as she mulls over the choices destiny had given her A small yet rambunctious caterpillar inches towards her With questions in its eyes Oh Heather of the must why do you ponder so hard? Why not let the sisters of fate have their way? Sir back and enjoy the ride Heather replies, I wish I could but you see My cat Mary has lost her marbles And I feel they have found their way into me At this the caterpillar and Heather turn back Towards the water Let the must roll over them and ponder some more
