Pond Life

Koi in the pond
     Shrimp on ice
     Sauce for fish
     Sliced or diced.
     Frog in the mouth;
     Dry, brittle tongue.
     Disallowed pleasures
     Knaves, little fun.
     
     Trips near the edge.
     Waves in my hand;
     disallowed pleasures,
     Nearly known; not allowed.
