Pollinators

the butterflies are tiny things
slender body with four wings
one of many pollinators
exceptionally beautiful creatures
not all pollinators are butterflies
there's bees' and many flies
beetles they help to pollinate to
some wasp, unintentionally true
there is one you will not see
a zephyr to a gale force three
in one gentle or maddening gust
wind blows the pollen just like dust
pollinating thousands but in one go
job done? next spring you'll know.
