Polka Dots - My Favorite Thing
My favorite thing is to stand
in wonder of something that brings
the awe of great mystery and
creates mystic aura that clings.
To do this, I wait for the night
when everything's quiet and still;
prepare for the far-reaching sight
that cradles each mountain and hill.
A cloak of blue velvet so high
embellished with gems far and wide,
like polka dots splashed on the sky...
stars gleaming and blinking with pride.
My favorite thing is to stand
neath this starry wonder so grand.
