Notes About The Poem

Sorry to say, but that's how I see it. I don't remember it always being that way.

Politicians By Nature Crooked

Politicians by Nature Crooked

Politicians by nature crooked
Doesn't matter which the side
Self minded interests move them
Up and down and side to side

Nothing changes with the parties
Even agendas are the same
To get themselves elected
Is the reason for the game

The rules are not pertaining
If they're ahead or far behind
The machinations gone through
Will boggle any mind

Tell lies about opponents
Their family and their mates
Get the dead to vote for them
Reserve those super delegates

The higher the position
The more the rules are changed
When running to be President
The resultant rules are so deranged

It's not about the people
Can't let them have their say
Much too ignorant to make a choice
God forbid they have their way

Where do we go from here? The people must be involved for change. The established politicians have shown their interest, or lack thereof. Thanks for visiting
