Political Stupidity

We put up with the language and the violence
we see on television everyday,
but in the course of normal conversation
we have to be so careful what we say.

It seems that this political correctness
that our politicians tend to preach,
not only interferes with our language
but also stops us having free speech.

Most people don't mean what they're saying
and honesty is very rarely seen,
how can people trust one another
if they're not allowed to say what they mean.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
