Polarity
Positive plus, Negative minus
on chanted my science teacher
Positive runs, Negative hops
they never met each other;
Positive North, Negative South
poles of magnets, Mother Earth
positive charge, Negative swells
'lectricity comes to be!
Positive you, Negative me
our differences make us unique
Positive here, Negative there
balancing earth's mighty scales;
For every this, a that exists
and righty too I dare to say
for if we lacked all opposites
what a place our world'd be!
