Hello Caren, animals do have the sense to smell things before we do. Polar Bears have a spiritual connection to the Northern Lights! I did not know that. Merry Christmas. Hugs.

Hmmm...animals always seem to have a closer connection to nature than we do; at least, that's what I believe.

I had a great uncle who would walk through the meadow and the birds would come and land on his arms and shoulders. He was like a saint. He would walk through the woods and leave food for the birds and the critters. I think there is a special place in the beyond for folks like that.

I had an uncle who was so in tune with nature he would say things like "have you heard of whales being beached?" and it would happen two weeks later.
