Polar Bear

The polar bear eats
Essentially meat
Including Man
If it can;
Now that you know
Do not go
Ever near
A polar bear.

Thanks for your comment. My intention has been to work with it until it conforms to the contest's requirements, but I wasn't having time for poetry lately. When I get back into it, I'll check out your new poems

This is cute as the dickens, Hannah!!! Did you SEE the actual happening to the poor boy with the polar bears? I think I know what you are talking about down here. Let me go to Soupmail and make sure!! I had something else I wanted to tell you anyway.

3 kids entered the zoo one night, I think 1987, and dared each other to do it. The one who did it first woke the bears and was attacked. The others ran screaming for help, but it was too late.

Nicely done, Hannah, beware of the bear. Good luck in the contest. John

Thanks. This is a rough draft. If I don't work on it and mess up the rhyme, no chance.

Attention Andrea, if you see this -- it got boosted by six, but only five were intended. Inserting this comment, added another. I'll be making an effort to avoid more. You, and no one else, will know what I'm talking about.
