Poisons of Man
I woke to the sound
of tears echoing
form a downspout
Heard the sobbing
whispering between
the leaves
As I listened in
the stillness
I heard moans
coming from the earth
I walked around
my so called garden
with cup in hand
my toes all wet
From tears of the Angels
who shed their tears
in joy and anguish
The trees were alive
in the deafening sound
of Bees at work
As the shadows
inger in the
dim daylight
The morning air growing sultry
from the lingering embrace
of morning light and late darkness
in their eternal love affair
Slowly at first the leaves
begin to move shaking
of the Angels tears
as the still cool
morning breeze
begins to rise
Shortly the passion
of a lover's breath
will carry through
the day as the
warmth of Summer
will kiss my skin
While within the
lingering shadows
the cooling caresses
fade and my beautiful
Terra cries out in
almost silence from
the poisons of man
