Poison
Let’s chase the dragon and see where it leads.
Will it save your dead heart or just cause it to bleed?
I dwell in the dark and I feed on your day.
I’ll take your free will and your soul I will slay.
Bring me your tired and bring me your weak.
I’ll steal every thought and deliver you bleak.
Try as you may, I will take hold.
Your sight will blur and your need will be bold.
I will bring forth a fight that few can win,
loved ones will cry as you choke on my sin.
Walk my line if you’re up for the task.
Play my game, just step up and ask.
Do as I say and not as I do.
Hear my words or this will be you.
Roll the dice or choose to pass go.
Take this tip and just say no!
